Description

Acacia howittii – HONEY BUN

FEATURES: This beautiful dense dwarf shrub has a pendulous habit reaching a height of 1.2m by 1.2m. Leaves are attractive, light green and about 2-3cm long. Yellow ball-shaped, scented flowers appear in Spring.

CONDITIONS: Performs best in full sun to part shade. Prefers well-drained soil but will tolerate most soils. Tolerant of light frost.

FOR BEST RESULTS: Mulch the area well to conserve soil moisture and suppress weeds.

Prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape.

Feed with a low phosphorus fertiliser.
