FORM:Â Vase shaped
FOLIAGE:Â Large fan shaped leaves have 10 – 12 lobes. Green in spring and summer turning brilliant scarlet, orange and crimson in autumn. Colours best in cool climates.
FLOWERS:Â Red flowers in clusters beneath the branches
 DESCRIPTION: a large bushy deciduous shrub or small tree with large rounded 9-11 lobed leaves which turn purple, crimson and orange in autumn.
 LANDSCAPE USES: Suitable for all landscape situations when planted in a protected area.Its shape and size makes it suitable for small gardens, and along driveways.Â
 TOLERANCES:  Likes a moist, slightly acidic, well drained soil.
 TREE CARE: Grow in a moist but well-drained soil. Water in summer if necessary. Leaf colour is best in partial shade, although full sun can be tolerated. Leaf scorch can be caused by lack of soil moisture or excessive exposure to winds.
