DESCRIPTION: This is a strong growing upright tree, with a wide spreading crown. The palmate foliage is dark green with silver undersides, turning red in Autumn.
LANDSCAPE USES: The bright reds of the Autumn foliage make this a spectacular specimen or avenue tree.
TOLERANCES: Tolerant to pollution, full sun or partial shade. Prefers well-drained, fertile soil.
TREE CARE: Plant in a well-drained and well-worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
