DESCRIPTION: This attractive narrow upright growing tree, with an open habit, outer branches have pendulous tips with small bright green serrated leaves that become yellow in Autumn. The slender trunk has white bark with dark markings making it a striking feature for the garden.
LANDSCAPE USES: Popular for avenue plantings or planted in groups to make a forest.
TREE CARE: Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
