DESCRIPTION: An attractive small to medium sized deciduous tree of rounded shape. Small rose pink, pea-like flowers, form in clusters on the bare branches in spring. Smooth dark green, heart shaped leaves follow, along with ornamental seed pods.

TOLERANCES: Plant in full sun or part shade in well drained soil. Frost hardy.
TREE CARE: Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
