FRUIT: Van has sweet juicy fruit, it is heart shaped with dark red to black skin and firm dark flesh.

MATURITY: Mid December (Mid Season)
DESCRIPTION: Lovely eaten fresh or can be used in preserves or jams. This variety produces good crops and the fruit can often resist cracking.
TOLERANCES: Suitable to grow in cooler climates.
TREE CARE: Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
