FRUIT: Brown shiny nuts enclosed within a green prickly burr. Used for roasting and cooking.
POLLINATION: It is recommended to plant 2 different varieties to assist pollination
MATURITY: Mid April
DESCRIPTION: A seedling grown from the nuts of trees specially selected for their fruiting habits and large sized nuts.
TOLERANCES: Prefers well drained, acid soils. More suitable to cool climate areas, frost tolerant.
TREE CARE: Plant in a sunny position with well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
