DESCRIPTION: A beautiful dogwood providing year-round interest with showy blossom, excellent Autumn colour & an attractive growth habit. A large spreading tree, growing wider than it does high.

FOLIAGE: Lime green new growth. Excellent Autumn colour of reds, orange & burgundy.
FLOWERS and FRUIT: Flat-topped cymes of densely packed creamy-white flowers from late spring to early summer. Mature trees are a magnificent sight when the branches are covered with flowers.
BARK: Juvenile bark is bright red to dark red-brown which ages to a grey-brown with lighter grey markings. In contrast, the stems of the flower cymes are bright green.
GROWTH RATE: Moderate to Fast
LANDSCAPE USES: Specimen tree, shade tree, informal screening, landscape structure
TOLERANCES: More tolerant of urban conditions and pollution than other Cornus varieties. Prefers cool to cold climates, especially to showcase excellent Autumn colour. High frost tolerance and moderate drought and wind tolerance. Prefers a full sun to semi-shaded position.
TREE CARE: Plant in protected position. Pruning is generally not required. Feed in early spring with a slow release or liquid all purpose fertiliser.
