Nectarine – Arctic Rose
A Fleming’s quality introduction, ‘Arctic Rose’ was traditionally bred to produce fruit with little to no acid and offers a delicious sweet flavour. Best when picked quite firm, they are a taste sensation if eaten with just the slightest amount of ‘give’ or even eaten firm. High scoring in taste tests. Matures mid-season.
Skin: Bright red colour over a creamy-white background colour.
Flesh: White. Firm. Fine textured. Juicy.
Flavour: Very good. Subacid.
Culture: Suitable for cool temperate zones of Australia with cool winters.
