FRUIT: Small, elongated dark red to purple fruit. Flesh is yellow, firm and juicy with a very sweet flavour.
POLLINATION: Robe de Sergeant Prune, Green Gage Plum, partially self fertile
MATURITY: Late February (Late season)
DESCRIPTION: Used for fresh fruit, preserves and jam very commonly used for dried fruit, when dried Prunes have very high levels of antioxidants, fibre, iron and vitamin A and C.
TOLERANCES:
TREE CARE: Plant in a sunny position with well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
