Long pendulous branches show off the deep crimson-red double blossom. This tree should be pruned back after flowering, as the new growth will encourage flowers for the following year.
TREE CARE: Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Provide a firm stake for support. After flowering, prune to an outward pointing bud.
