 DESCRIPTION: A stately, deciduous tree with a wide spreading crown. Deeply lobed, shiny green leaves turn rich scarlet in autumn. The autumn colors are the most vivid of all deciduous trees.
 LANDSCAPE USES: Stately specimen tree suitable for larger properties and parks. Excellent shade tree.
 TOLERANCES: Prefers a cooler climate and is tolerant of most soil conditions. Frost resistant.
 TREE CARE: Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
