FLOWERS:Â Pale lemon-cream flower spikes in mid spring.
DESCRIPTION: An abundance of large, single, sweetly fragrant pale lemon-cream flower spikes in mid spring. Handsome and compact, this fast grower covers itself with large panicles of flowers that become richer with age. Highly fragrant blossoms make it ideal as a specimen plant or as a bushy hedge.
LANDSCAPE USES: Suited to use in small gardens and parks for shrub borders or as a screening plant.
TOLERANCES: Plant in full sun, Prune after flowering. Annual mulching and fertilizer in autumn recommended, with summer watering required.
TREE CARE: Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union approximately 5 to 10cm BELOW the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune to shape if necessary.
