FORM: Weeping standard. Strong branches grow horizontally to pendulous forming a drooping rounded canopy.
GROWTH RATE: Slow
FOLIAGE: Mid green ovate leaves with serrated margins becoming yellow in autumn.
FLOWERS AND FRUIT: Pale green flowers followed by clusters of pale green seeds.
DESCRIPTION: A grafted standard form usually on a 1.8- 2m graft. It has a spreading weeping habit and can fall all the way to the ground.
LANDSCAPE USES: Ideal as a specimen tree for parks and gardens. Great for smaller gardens.
TOLERANCES: Hardy. Resistant to strong winds and adverse conditions including pollution. Grows in most soils and conditions, preferring full sun and room to spread in moist, well drained soils. Prefers warm temperate to cold climates.
TREE CARE: Any vigorous upward branches should be removed.
